Rockwell Park

Rockwell, Makati

One of the most prestigious places to have a house / room to live in today, Rockwell is one of the most complete districts in the metro. Consisting of a mall, Power Plant Mall, and a variety of condominiums that houses luxury in every context; Rockland Land Corp. aims to build their facilities in the concept of Landscape and aesthetics. One of the first pioneers in the Philippines that gave people the concept of a “good green healthy space” and a park like sceneries within the context of retail dining, leaving new lasting impressions for all guests and tenants within the area.

Within the busy city of Makati lies one of the luxurious Malls that the Metro has to offer, Power Plant Mall, one of the best family oriented malls in the area. The Power Plant Mall also acts as a common lobby for the luxury condominiums that lie along the residential drive. Rockwell didn’t forget their concept for creating green spaces. They created a park that redefined the residential, or a more natural feel for the condominium and mall.

Designed by the world renowned Landscape artist, Karl Princic who also designed the new The Grove, across the shopping mecca “Tiendesitas”; This said garden will cater the residential suites and residential condominiums in the area, providing also a secured sense of a “public garden”. With a playful approach of the gray (concrete) and green (landscaping) connection, pushed the scheme of the garden to be well defined, with the lush color of the evergreen plants and some of the best flowering plants mark as colorful borders. With a split leveled approach marks an intriguing call for the guests to go around the garden. A Composite approach for its’ patterns giving the sense of a modern yet natural park, with these elements; I think this garden is one of the best parks that will define a modern park.

A marriage of new ideas and old styles of craftsmanship; straight lines and curved feminine lines, lush green plants, colorful flowering plants, intriguing split in levels and various things that redefined movement within. These are just some of the things a modern man needs, a sense of privacy yet still gives the impression of our craving to move forward and to fulfill our curiosity that’s what we need in a modern park.
